Sara Nagel, Au. D.
Doctor of Audiology, Founder and President
Dr. Nagel received her B.S. and M.A. degrees from Brooklyn College, City University of New York, and her Au.D. from A.T. Still University-Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Nagel trained clinically at major hospitals in the NYC area, and after moving to Houston in 1998, she practiced as a pediatric audiologist at Texas Children’s Hospital and as an adjunct professor of Audiology at the University of Houston prior to establishing The Center for Audiology in 2008. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Nagel enjoys outdoor fitness activities, reading, cooking, volunteering, and spending time with her husband and seven children.

Cristina Vallejo, Au.D.
Dr. Vallejo earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma and her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Vallejo has a passion for helping hearing-impaired patients improve their quality of life with the most innovative hearing solutions available. Dr. Vallejo grew up in Texas but is originally from Puerto Rico and is fluent in Spanish. When she is not working, Dr. Vallejo enjoys outdoor activities including biking and jogging. She also enjoys discovering the hidden treasures Houston has to offer and experimenting with new recipes with her husband.
Rosangela Moura, Au.D.
Dr. Rosangela Moura earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Tech University, her Master of Science in Audiology degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, and her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University in Pennsylvania. She has over 30 years of experience in communication disorders. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She is licensed to practice audiology and to fit and dispense hearing aids in Texas. Dr. Moura is fluent in Portuguese and has a working knowledge of Spanish. Dr. Moura’s primary area of interest is adult hearing rehabilitation with amplification. She is dedicated to helping her patients rediscover the sounds of life and be able to communicate with friends and family with greater ease. She is committed to patient care that is comprehensive and individualized, as well as educational. In her leisure time, Dr. Moura enjoys attending the Houston Ballet and the Astros Baseball games. She is thrilled that her favorite sports team finally won the World Series in great style. She is an avid reader, cook, and loves to travel.
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Belinda Ritchie is a Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS), licensed to fit/dispense hearing aids in the state of Texas. She is a member of Texas Hearing Aid Association. Belinda specializes in audiological diagnostic testing, hearing evaluations, hearing aid services and providing exemplary customer service. She strives for all patients to experience the best hearing health care. One of her passions is to help patients understand the impact of hearing loss in daily life. Being a hearing aid user herself, she is able to share the significant benefits of hearing instruments amplification. When not working, she loves reading, spending time at the beach, and spending quality time with her handsome husband, 4 children and her beautiful grand babies.
Dr. David Tolstyka, Au.D.
Dr. David Tolstyka earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University and his Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas. He completed his clinical training with the Ear Nose and Throat Associates of East Texas before moving to Houston. His passion for hearing and communication arose following the loss of his hearing at the age of 15, and subsequent cochlear implantations. Dr. Tolstyka’s clinical interests include aural rehabilitation, communication strategies, and wearable and implantable hearing devices. His life outside of the clinic is rooted in his background with competitive sports. Dr. Tolstyka represented the United States of America at the 2011 and 2015 World Deaf Swimming Championships in Coimbra, Portugal, and San Antonio, Texas. He now enjoys hiking, rock climbing, running, and is always looking for new competitions to take part in.
